Citrange is an organic energy drink based on natural products such as tea leaves. Citrange is a healthy alternative to mainstream energy drinks that are made with artificial ingredients, synthetic caffeine, and taurine. Citrange is a collection of three flavours based on citruses and other natural ingredients. With a chain of merchandise products that advertises the company name and zest.
The challenges that arose while designing Citrange as a brand was the creation process. I wanted a brand that was simple yet surprising. I searched for a design that would please those who wanted good quality energy drinks. While creating the configuration of the text and visuals I decided to make it pop with colours and type. Finding a nice balance between type, visuals, and white space was important throughout the whole process.
While creating the logo, I struggled making a cohesive, bright and simple look without making it basic. The shape represents the bright and naturally rounded fruit. It connects the fresh and organic aspect of the product while countering the chemically infused drinks that are only made with horrible ingredients which are harmful to our bodies. Finally, Citrange would be found in most supermarkets and would be easily spotted from far away due to its bright and vibrant colours.
